Mechanical at the Core. Construction Around It.
Bharat Mechanical Corp. is a New York HVAC, mechanical and general construction contractor. Our main focus is the work that makes a building livable: heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, the piping and ductwork that carry it, and the controls that run it.
Around that mechanical core we deliver the general construction projects need, from roof openings and mechanical rooms to full interior renovations. Clients get one contractor who understands both the systems and the building they sit in.
We serve public agencies, institutions, commercial property owners, general contractors and residential clients across New York City and Long Island.
Trusted on Public Work
Public owners hold contractors to strict standards for safety, documentation, inspections and closeout. These are the agencies and institutions we have delivered work for.
How We Work
Four principles that guide every crew and every project.
Build it right the first time
We install to the drawings, the code and the manufacturer's requirements, and we test before anything is closed in.
Respect the building and its people
Schools, campuses and public buildings often stay open while we work. We protect occupied spaces and keep sites clean.
Own the outcome
One contractor responsible for the mechanical result, from submittal to turnover, with no gaps between trades.
Build for the long run
The systems we install run for decades. We build for efficiency, access and maintenance, and train the people who operate them.
Rooted in New York
From our office in New Hyde Park, we serve Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island and the surrounding region.
We know the city's building stock, from pre-war steam systems to new high-performance construction, and the codes, inspections and logistics that come with working here.
From Survey to Turnover
Survey & Scope
We walk the site, review drawings and existing conditions, and confirm exactly what the job includes.
Clear Proposal
An itemized price and schedule, with value-engineering options where they make sense.
Coordinated Install
Submittals approved, trades coordinated and experienced crews on site with a supervisor accountable for the work.
Test & Turnover
Systems tested, started and balanced, then handed over with as-builts, manuals, warranties and training.
